Michael Holifield O.D., P.A.

Dr. Holifield has been practicing optometry in South Florida since 1998. His emphasis on patient comfort, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry enable him to provide you with the best quality of care in the field.

Dr. Holifield has a wide range of experience in different areas of optometry, from eye disorder prevention to corneal reshaping. He has the skills to address your eye care needs.

Dr. Holifield resides in Plantation with his wife, Kathleen and their two children, Brandon and Juliana. Dr. Holifield is active in his community and supports many charities locally and worldwide. In his free time he enjoys golf, snowboarding and spending time with family. He has a great enthusiasm for the game of baseball and supports local youth sports.

Our team includes experienced and energetic people whose goal is to provide the best eye care possible.

Melissa Hallman – Office Manager
Melissa joined Central Park Vision Center in June of 2013. As our Office Manager, she is instrumental in running all aspects of our office and in ensuring quality patient care. Her focus is on providing an exceptional experience to every patient who walks through the door. Melissa’s favorite part of working here is interacting with our patients, many of whom have become like family to us over the years. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out at the gym, and running.

Angelica Sanchez – Optometric Technician
Angelica started in the optical field in 2001. She joined our office in March of 2013. She recognizes the importance of eye health and enjoys communicating her knowledge to our patients. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Angelica puts her people skills to work every day here at Central Park Vision Center. In her personal time, Angelica enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, writing, and exploring new restaurants in the area.

Colleen Ramer – Optical Assistant
Colleen joined our office in June of 2018. Though she is new to the optical field, she has extensive work experience in running a business and in providing superior customer service to clients. Colleen is a welcome addition to our team, where she will be able to put these skills to good use, providing our patients with the highest standard of care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, fishing, and serving as an extremely active member of our community
